Convert Titles/Names From Image To TextThis feature will help your search engine rankings in search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, and MSN.
Yahoo! Stores by default, show item and section names as an image. In other words, they are showing a picture of the name. The problem is that search engines cannot read images. Only people can read an image. The search engine doesn't know if it's a picture of a car or a picture of the words "Digital Camera".
The title or name of your products is one of the most important parts of the page. It tells the customer what is in the page. It's like the title of a book or name of a movie. Having it as an image is useless when since search engines can't read it. The search engines are missing one of the most important parts of your page.
What this feature will do is convert the names/titles to text that is fully readable by the search engines. Visually it will be identical to what is there now.
One more advantage of this feature is that if you have a long name for an item, the Yahoo! system will create the name image in only one line, and if it is longer than the user's screen, it will go off the page and force people to scroll left and right. This feature will allow the text to be wrapped to the next line to avoid this.
