Add Custom Fields To PagesThere is no black and white answer as to what this feature can do for your store.
A basic example would be to add a "manufacturer" field to each item. This would allow you to put a new column in your database called "manufacturer". This might help you to organize your database and items. You don't need us for that. It is something that can be done by anyone. It is not a custom feature. However, if you want the new manufacturer field to be used in your store, then we can create a custom template that will display it anywhere you choose. For example, next to every product code, you can display the manufacturer. Better yet, we can create a custom template that will automatically display certain items based on manufacturer.
The possibilites are endless!
